After successfully implementing the “Refer a Friend” program across various campaigns and media, space150 made the pitch for American Express’s “Refer a Business” program. We reworked the card member journey and created a unique visual language to maintain consistency and familiarity throughout our marketing campaigns. This way, we could create a program that worked alongside “Refer a Friend” without losing its own identity and messaging. And surprise, we won the pitch!

American Express approached space150 to rethink their corporate prospect customer journey and creative output. We rethought the way we would attract companies looking to sign up for a corporate card through social media advertising, email marketing, and a landing page. This would encourage users to do the thing we needed from them the most: give American Express a call to get started.

Concept 1

This concept is visually light and airy, with an editorial content structure. We speak to the prospect eloquently and with humanity, which is reemphasized through our use of photography as the main visual storytelling device.

Concept 2

We approached the second concept pragmatically and very much wanted it to read like a graphic road map. We stripped out the editorial quality of the storytelling and wanted a bold directive for the prospect to call American Express. Card art and a strong color palette are used to guide the prospect through the journey.
